The Carr & Carr Law Firm
The firm is the oldest continuous bloodline law firm in the State of Iowa and marked its 150th anniversary in 2022.
Carr & Carr is a general practice firm engaging primarily in the following areas of law:

The Attorneys
There are three attorneys at Carr & Carr who are all natives of
Manchester and are familiar with the aspects of the community, Delaware County,
and the State of Iowa. The firm was
founded in 1872 by E. M. Carr after graduating from the University of Iowa Law
School. He was joined in the practice by
his son Hubert Carr in 1901 who graduated from Drake Law School in Des Moines.
Hubert’s son E. Michael Carr (Mike) joined
the practice in 1964. Today the practice consists of Mike and his two sons.

John Carr
John is a 1997 Iowa Law School graduate.
Steve Carr
Steve graduated from Drake Law School in 2001.
The Office
The practice has been located in the same building in downtown
Manchester since 1872. The office has
undergone several remodeling projects including an addition overlooking the
Maquoketa River and the Manchester Whitewater Park. A new brick front has been added featuring a
unique design of stone surrounding the windows.
The office is neatly appointed which includes a generous reception and
secretarial area along with three offices and two conference rooms.
